Brussels Sprouts and Bacon
Brussels sprouts cooked in bacon fat
Steps

Chop the garlic finely.Wash and halve the Brussels sprouts.

Cook three strips of bacon on medium-high heat until brown and crispy on both sides (about 5 minutes).

Remove bacon from pan. Slice the bacon into small pieces on a cutting board.

Add the Brussels sprouts to the bacon-greased pan and cook on medium-high heat for about 5 minutes, stirring frequently.

Add garlic to the pan and cook until it starts to brown (about 3 minutes), stirring frequently.

Incorporate the bacon and cook for a couple more minutes.

Add chicken stock and cook until about half of the stock boils away (about 2 minutes), stirring occasionally.

Add salt and pepper to taste (I like to add a lot of pepper).
