Ingredients

  • 1 CupBasmati Rice
  • 12Baby Corn
  • 1Onion (Chopped)
  • 2 CupsCoconut Milk (thin)
  • & 1 CloveBay leaf Cinnamon Cardamom , , (each)
  • 1/4 TeaspoonTurmeric Powder
  • To TasteSalt
  • 4 TablespoonsGhee Oil /
  • 1/2 BunchCoriander Leaves
  • 4 ClovesGarlic
  • 1Ginger Slice
  • 4Green Chilli
  • 1/4 TeaspoonGaram Masala
  • 2 TablespoonsCoconut Grated (optional)

Steps

30 mins
  1. 1

    Soak rice for 10 minutes. Grind all the ingredients under "grind" to a smooth paste with less water.

  2. 2

    In a pressure cooker,heat ghee/oil in the cooker and add bay leaf, cinnamon, cardamom and cloves.Then add the onions and saute for a few minutes.

  3. 3

    Add baby corn,ground masala and saute for 2 minutes. Add the soaked rice and saute for a minute. Then add coconut milk, salt and cook for 2 whistles and 5 minutes in low flame.

  4. 4

    Serve with the Raita of your choice.
