This is the easiest chicken curry you will ever make, and definitely one of the tastiest!
Steps

Heat the oil in an uncovered pressure cooker.

Add onion (if using), garlic, and ginger. Sauté.

Once the garlic starts to change colour, add in the chicken pieces.

Turn up the flame to high.

Now keep stirring the chicken around, till it starts to brown. Should take 4-5 mins.

Finally add in the chopped tomatoes. Bring flame to medium.

Season with salt, pepper, turmeric powder, and red chilli powder. Also add the green chilli, if using.

Let the tomato break down completely. This may take 7-8 mins.

When you see that the masala is releasing oil, only then proceed to the next step.

Pour in water. Cover the pressure cooker. Wait for 3-4 whistles.

Once you open the cooker, adjust salt seasoning. The gravy will be runny and bright red in colour.

Serve this with rice. You will be left licking your plate! :)

PS: If you don't have a pressure cooker, use a wok. In step 10, add the water, and cover the wok and cook the chicken till it's tender.
