Ingredients

  • 400 gmPrawn (cleaned and deveined) -
  • 6 nosOnion -
  • 1 noTomato -
  • 1.5 tbspsGinger garlic paste -
  • 8 nos to 10 nosgarlic Crushed (crushed at the time of cooking) -
  • 5 tbspsOil -
  • 1/2 tspTurmeric powder -
  • 3 tspsChilli powder -
  • 1 tspDhania powder -
  • 1/2 cupWater -
  • to tasteSalt -

Steps

  1. 1

    In a kadai, add onion saute well till it turns translucent

  2. 2

    Add tomotoes and saute well. Close the kadai with lid for 3 min to make the tomotoes soft.

  3. 3

    Open the tomotoes mash well, add ginger garlic paste

  4. 4

    Add turmeric, chilli and dhania powder

  5. 5

    Saute well till oil seperates

  6. 6

    Add cleaned and deveined prawns. Stir to together.

  7. 7

    Add freshly crushed garlics and saute.

  8. 8

    Add water and salt and stir. Close the lid. Prawns get cooked in about 7 to 8 min.

  9. 9

    Open the lid so the extra water evaporates and the oil starts leaving the sides of the pan. Remove from flame.

  10. 10

    Ready to serve
