Ingredients

  • 150 GMsAvarekkalu (lima beans).              .
  • 1 / 2 cupsOnionchopped
  • 2Tomato .     Medium size .
  • 2 tablespoonsGinger garlic paste .
  • 1/4 teaspoonTurmeric powder .
  • To tasteSalt .
  • 1/2 teaspoonChilly poser .
  • 50 mlCooking oil .
  • A few strandsCoriander seed .

  1. 1

    In a frying pan add  oil and sauté the onion till transparent,Then add ginger garlic paste and stir for 30 seconds.Add cut tomatoes and fry till dry.

  2. 2

    Add turmeric,and chilly powder and Lima beans and stir for a while,Then add one cop of water. Add salt and pressure cook for 5 minutes.

  3. 3

    Garnish with coriander leaves..Tasty avaraekkalu curry is ready. This goes well with rice,chappathi and even idles.
