Ingredients

4-5 servings
  • 1 cupragi -(finger millet) flour
  • 1/2 cup-whole wheat flour (optional, for better texture)
  • 1/2 cup-powdered jaggery, brown sugar, or white sugar
  • 1/2 cup-butter, ghee, or oil (softened)
  • 1/4 tsp-baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp-cardamom powder (optional)
  • 1/2tsp- salt
  • 2–3 tbsp- milk or water, as needed
  • 4-5chopped nuts, raisins, chocolate chips,
  • 1-1/2tblsp-sesame

    Add ragi flour, whole wheat flour, baking powder, salt, and cardamom powder.

    In a bowl, cream together the butter/ghee/oil and jaggery or sugar.

    Mix well until combined.
    Gradually add milk or water and knead into a soft dough.

    Fold in nuts, raisins, chocolate chips, or sesame seeds if using.

    Divide the dough into small portions and shape into balls.

  6. 6

    Flatten slightly and place on a lined baking tray. Preheat the air fryer to 200°C 10 to 15 mins

  7. 7

    Bake for 12–15 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.

  8. 8

    Allow the cookies to cool completely before serving. Serve it cool
