Who doesnt love a slather of Mayo on bread.. and homemade mayo is just so terribly easy and simple that you just wouldnt be able to understand why you have been spending so much on getting Mayo that doesn't taste as good!!
Steps
- 1
Cream the egg yolks with sugar and the preservative.
- 2
To this start adding a tablespoon of oil at a time and whisk in till completely emulsified (I used a Electric Hand Mixer for it)
- 3
When you are halfway through the oil, add in the English Mustard and blend in.
- 4
Continue with adding the oil and whisking in (you can graduate to 2 tbsp a time once there is a definite one cup emusified mass in your bowl)
- 5
Once all the Oil is in and done, add in the salt and lemon juice and blend
- 6
Voila, you have delicious home made Mayonnaise
