Its a treat for all sea food lovers and I simply love eating fish! :) The fish is marinated with some fresh Green Masala, coated with semolina and shallow fried is the most common way to cook fish in Goa. Make this fish fry and make your loved ones happy :)
Steps
- 1
Wash and clean the fish fillets. In a small bowl, make a paste of lemon juice, garlic paste, green chilly paste, coriander paste, turmeric and salt. Rub the fish with the paste thoroughly and let it marinate for 10-15 minutes.
- 2
Take the rava in a plate. Mix little salt and red chilly flakes with the rava. Take the fish carefully and coat it with the rava mixture on all sides.
- 3
Heat little oil on a frying pan and gently place the fish. Shallow fry it for 4-5 minutes on one side or cook till the rava turns crisp golden brown. Turn the fish carefully and fry the other side too. Drizzle some oil if needed.
- 4
Garnish with lemon wedges. Enjoy hot crispy Rava fried Surmai as a side dish or enjoy with some steamed rice n rasam :)
