Ingredients

  1. 360 gflour
  2. 120 gcornmeal
  3. 50 gbrown sugar
  4. 2 tablespoonsbaking powder
  5. 2 teaspoonssalt
  6. 475 mlmilk
  7. 3eggs
  8. 225 gmelted butter
  9. 225 gshredded cheese
  10. 35 gchopped scallions, plus 3 chopped scallions for garnish
  11. 3 tablespoonsminced jalapeno peppers

Cooking Instructions

    Combine the flour, cornmeal, sugar, baking powder, and salt in bowl

    In separate bowl combine milk, eggs, and butter

  3. 3

    Stir in wet ingredients into dry and mix

  4. 4

    Add cheese, scallions, and jalapenos and mix

  5. 5

    Preheat oven to 170 degrees celcius. After letting the mixture sit at room temperature for 20 minutes, bake for 40 mins, or until toothpick comes out clean
