For chana dal chutney first soak chana dal for 3-4hours in warm water

After 3-4 hours remove exess water from dal take it in a mixer jar add green chilli coconut salt and grind it make afine paste

Now add curd and churn once again and remove it in a bowl

Heat oil in a tadka pan add mustard seeds and curry leaves and pour this tadka over chutney mix well chana dal chutney is ready

For kara chutney heat oil in a pan add chana dal urad dal mustard seeds curry leaves And red chilliesin it cook for few seconds

Add chopped onions chopped tomatoes salt Turmerind pulp and water cook for 2minuts

Add jaggery turmerind pulp mix well turn of gas let it cool for some time and then grind it in a fine paste Your kara chutney is also ready to serve
