Ingredients

  • 1 canchickpeas, drained and rinsed
  • 2 tablespoonslemon juice
  • 2 tablespoonstahini paste (sesame seed paste)
  • Pinchsalt to taste
  • 60 mlextra virgin olive oil
  • 1 clovegarlic
  • 1Peppadew roughly chopped
  • 1dusting of smoked sweet paprika

Steps

  1. 1

    In a food processor or blender, add all of the ingredients expect the olive oil and bring to a blitz.

  2. 2

    Once the mixture has combined but is chunky, add the extra virgin olive oil and blitz until combined and a smooth paste is formed into the hummus. Dust with a little smoked sweet paprika. Serve with crisps, crackers, or spread on a freshly made flatbread.
