Ingredients

  • 1yellow onion (sliced)
  • 5kaffir lime leaves
  • 1lime juice
  • 3-4 stalkslemongrass (sliced)
  • 1 bundlecoriander's stem shoot
  • 8baby carrots (sliced)
  • 10birds eye chilli (sliced)
  • 5dried chilli (cut into pieces)
  • 15tiger prawn (washed)
  • 15 pieceschicken (cubed)
  • 1tomato
  • 10oyster mushroom
  • Few pieces of coriander leaves
  • 3 tbsThai Chilli Paste (Tomyam paste Nyonya brand)
  • 1small ladle of evaporated milk (F&N brand)
  • 10 tbsfish sauce (Knife brand)
  • 5 cupswater

Steps

  1. 1

    Bring the water to boil along with onion, coriander stem, lemongrass, kaffir lime leaves, chilli, dried chilli and carrots.

  2. 2

    When boiling, add the tomyam paste, evaporated milk, and fish sauce. Salt and sugar(if needed) to taste. Add the chicken as well.

  3. 3

    When chicken almost cooked, add the tiger prawns, oyster mushroom,tomato and lime juice.

  4. 4

    Serve hot with Thai fragrant rice.
