I first tried General Tso's Chicken when I was about 13. It was spicy, it was tasty, and it was very different from our usual Chinese Take-out Orders. I loved it at first sight. I started cooking a few years later and was always up for trying to make it, but I was intimidated.

A few years ago, I tried to make Orange Chicken and it was very easy to make, so tasty. When we bought our slow cooker about a year ago, I have made a lot of different Asian inspired dishes. I found a few different recipes for General Tso's in the slow cooker, but they either had too many ingredients or the reviews were poor.

As usual, I took from a few different recipes, combined them, then added a few other steps of my own. I made this my recipe and loved it. It is so easy to make and very tasty. Hopefully, you will like it as much as I did.

Enjoy!

Since I was a kid, I remember sitting in the kitchen to watch and/or help my parents. As I grew up, I decided to try their recipes and experiment with different recipes. Some were very good and I re-make them all of the time. Others? Yeah, I never tried them again. All of the recipes that I post are the very good ones. Also, while growing up, my pops suffered from high blood pressure, so my mom stopped adding sodium. Since that is how I was raised, all of the dishes that I post do not have any extra sodium added to it. A lot of friends and family who try my recipes, either do not notice nor miss it. But in no way am I saying not to add salt if you use my recipes. If you want to add it, then go for it.In closing, I hope that you enjoy my recipes. If you use any, then please post pictures. Enjoy!
