Ingredients

  • 7medium sized unripe bananas
  • 10medium sized potatoes
  • Dania
  • 1/2 kggoat meat
  • 2large tomatoes
  • 2large onions
  • Ginger
  • French beans
  • Snow peas
  • Purple cabbage
  • Cooking oil
  • to tasteSalt

    Mukimo; a) peel the potatoes and bananas ensuring all the skin comes off. b)place these in a sufuria or a pot,add salt to taste and water to cover them and place on fire. c) allow to boil until the potatoes are fully cooked,check with cooking stick by trying to break it into 2, ensure it doesnt overcooked that is it doesnt get mushy. d) turn off the heat, drain the water,add dania and mash them to a smooth paste, ensure the paste is not very dry by adding little water.

    Goat meat stew; a) cut the onion and ginger into a sufuria on fire and fry with oil until fully cooked. Add the meat cut into small pieces and salt to taste. Stir n cover until the water is gone. Add the tomatoes and allow to cook while stirring. Add a little water and bring to a boil so as to form a good stew. The whole process should take about 30 mins on high heat.

    Vegetable cooking; a)wash the vegetables b) place in a sufuria with water and place on heat. Add salt to taste. Let it boil for 3 minutes. C) sieve the vegetables and drain all water.d) fry the onion with oil in sufuria over high heat until golden brown. E) place the veges in the sufuria and stir for two minutes. They are now ready.

    Serve the three together while hot. Add an avocado(optional) on top and enjoy
