Ingredients

25-30 minutes
6-8 servings
  1. 375 gself raising flour
  2. 125 mlmilk
  3. 125 mlolive oil or canola oil
  4. 1 teaspoondried herbs
  5. 2eggs, lightly beaten
  6. 150 gGouda cheese, grated
  7. 50 gParmesan cheese
  8. 1heaped tablespoon of marmite
  9. 2 tablespoonswater
  10. 2 tablespoonsgolden syrup

Steps

25-30 minutes
  1. 1

    Pre-heat oven to 180 degrees C. In a large mixing bowl, add the flour, eggs, oil, milk, and grated cheese.

  2. 2

    Stir the ingredients gently until just combined. In a greased muffin tray, divide the batter into the tray, sprinkle over a little extra cheese and bake for 20 minutes

  3. 3

    Whilst the muffins are baking, make the glaze by mixing the marmite, water and golden syrup together in a small microwaveable bowl. Warm in the microwave for 20-30 seconds until a syrupy glaze mix is formed. Stir to combine

  4. 4

    Once the muffins have cooled down, pour the glaze over the muffins.

  5. 5

    Enjoy fresh as a great on the go Brekkie! :)
