Ingredients

20 minutes
12-14 cookies
  1. 1.5 cupsrolled oats
  2. 1/2 cupwhole wheat flour
  3. 1/2 cupall purpose flour (can replace with whole wheat)
  4. 3 tbscocoa powder
  5. 1/2 tspbaking soda
  6. 1/2 tspbaking powder
  7. 1/2 tspsalt
  8. 1 tspground cinnamon
  9. 4small or 2 large bananas
  10. 10dates
  11. 2-3 tbshoney
  12. 2eggs
  13. 4 tbscoconut (or vegetable) oil
  14. walnuts (optional)
  15. unsweetened coconut flakes (optional)

Steps

20 minutes
  1. 1

    Mix all the dry ingredients

  2. 2

    Blend bananas, honey and dates in a food processor

  3. 3

    Pour the banana mixture in the dry ingredients. Add eggs (lightly beaten) and oil

  4. 4

    Mix all. Refrigerate for 10 minutes

  5. 5

    Add and mix additional toppings if any.

  6. 6

    Bake for 8 to 10 minutes at 125 C in a greased tray or cookie sheet.

  7. 7

    These may not spread so you will have to shape them before baking.
