Ingredients

  1. 4eggplants
  2. 1onion, 1 potato, spices (salt, black pepper, cinnamon)
  3. 1 cupbasmati rice (about 200 grams)

Steps

  1. 1

    Fry the onion, eggplant, and potato.

    Rinse the rice and soak it in water.

    Place the fried onion, potato, and eggplant at the bottom of a pot, then add the rice on top. Cook over heat until done.

  4. 4

    Once cooked, invert the pot onto a large serving plate to unmold the maqluba.

  5. 5

    Enjoy!
