Steps

  1. 1

Cut 1 banana into 4 pcs. by cutting half in length way and then in width way as picture.

  2. 2

Pour coconut in pot, put in pandanus leaf and add banana.

  3. 3

Put sugar and salt. Turn on medium heat and bring to boil.

  4. 4

Stir little, reduce to low heat and boil until banana is cooked. Noticed by banana texture would be soft and little transparent.

  5. 5

Tip : served hot in dessert cup about 6-8 pcs. Taste is sweet, little salty, flavor of coconut milk and scent of pandanus leaf. If you like little hard banana and sticky texture, I would recommend to use light green & yellow banana. Ripe yellow ones are soft and sweet if you like. You also can adjust sugar as you like.

  6. 6

Remark : Better take pandanus leaf out when it cooked, don't leave it in pot otherwise it would give bitter taste.

  7. 7

    Enjoy your cooking.
