Ingredients

1 hour
6 persons
  1. 150 gbiscuit with chocolate cream in the middle
  2. 10 tbsbutter
  3. 150 gsugar for the caramel
  4. 100 gmixed nuts like wallnuts, kashews, almonds etc
  5. 50sugar + water for the snow flake
  6. 4 packagesblack cholocate
  7. 4 packagesmilk chocolate
  8. Candy hearts and pearls for decoration
  9. If you want: raisins or candied orange peel etc

    Smash the cookies with your hands till they form a bumpy dust and melt 3 tbs butter in the microwave oven, and mix the cookies with the butter to form a dough.

    Take a rounded cake shape with bottom that you can take out, and put the cookie dough on the bottom in 1 -2 cm thick layer and also carefully stick a layer of dough on the inside walls of the metal shape and put it in the fridge to cool.

    Melt the chocolates and add the 12 tbs of butter to it, plus raisins or orange peel etc if using.

    Pour the melted choco on the cooled cookie base and again put it in the fridge to cool off.

  5. 5

    On a baking paper make a big snowflake of water mixed with sugar and let it dry for a night. The next day take it off carefully. I broke it but it still looks pretty. Put the snowflake in the middle of the cake.

    Create the caramel. Start melting the sugar and when its dark brown add the nuts that u roasted a lil before in the oven.

    Put the hot caramel on baking paper and when it has dried break it into small pieces to decorate the top of the cake with it as seen on the pic

    Also decorate with sugar hearts and pearls

When i imagine a dish, first i cook it in my head and i try to imagine how it will taste like. if the ingredients will be in harmony, how can i make it technically and what side dishes would match well. what i have learnt from south-east asian cuisines is, that fresh ingredients are unbeatable. in nutrition, taste, look and color, crispiness and moistness. my recent goal is to use as many fresh herbs and veggies as possible. there are only a few dishes that i dont like, few type of seafood and seaweed. any other ingredient is on my horizon if i plan to create something new,cooking is my art.
