Snapper Roe in Slow Cooker

My mother used to make amazing snapper roe soup. However, I was too lazy to prepare the herbs and use a pressure cooker for that. I decided to use my slow cooker instead. It turned out savory, a bit tangy, and tasty.

Steps
- 1
Pour the oil into the slow cooker. (I used a small one, about 1.5 liter in size)
- 2
Arrange the onion and then tomato in the slow cooker.
- 3
Make a few slices on the roe. Mix garlic, ginger, salt, lemon juice well. Coat the roe with the mixture.
- 4
Put the roe on top of the onion and tomato. Add the water.
- 5
Press HIGH for 3 hours or LOW for 6 hours.
