Ingredients

  • Zigeunersoße
  • 1 tablespoonextra Virgin olive oil
  • 1medium onion sliced
  • 3 cupssliced bell pepper
  • 2 teaspoonminced garlic
  • 1-1/2 tablespoonsflour
  • 2 teaspoonHungarian paprika
  • 2 teaspoonHot Hungarian paprika
  • 2 tablespoonstomato paste
  • 1-1/2 cupchicken broth
  • 2 teaspoonlemon juice
  • 2 teaspoonsugar
  • to tastesalt and pepper

Steps

  1. 1

    Heat the oil and add onions.

    After 7 minutes then add the peppers.

  3. 3

    Add the flour, sugar, Lemon juice, sugar, paprika, and Tomato paste, stir cooking for 3 minutes.

    Add the chicken broth. Let it thicken.

    Simmer for 20-25 minutes.
