Tasty Borsch

My first Ukrainian Borsch! My foodie friend gave me some beets with a recipe. I arranged it with the vegetables I had in the fridge, so it might not be the traditional type made in Ukraine or Russia. Still, it was easy to cook and really delicious!

Steps
- 1
Cut the meat and the vegetables into bite pieces.
- 2
Heat olive oil in a pot with the minced garlic. Stir fry the meat first, then potato, cabbage, and onions at medium heat.
- 3
Add in the beets, can of tomato, and water, along with the bouillon stocks, laurier and salt.
- 4
Reduce heat and simmer with the lid on for 30 minutes.
- 5
Adjust with salt and pepper. Serve with parsley and sour cream on top. Enjoy!
