Ingredients

  1. 2 bunchesKang kung (200 g), cut to taste
  2. 1tomatoes, roughly chopped (remove seeds if you don’t like)
  3. 4red chillis, sliced oblique
  4. 1/2 tspbouillon powder
  5. 2bay leaves
  6. 1 sectiongalangal, crushed
  7. 1/2 tspsugar
  8. to tasteSalt
  9. a littleoil for frying
  10. GROUND SPICES
  11. 8shallots
  12. 4 clovesgarlic
  13. 7cayenne peppers
  14. 1 tspBelacan, roasted

Cooking Instructions

    Heat oil, then saute ground spices and galangal until fragrant (golden brown).

  2. 2

    Add the bay leaves and water spinach, stir-fry until slightly wilted --- first add the pieces of stem, after that the leaves.

    Add a little water, if needed. Put in the tomatoes, red chili and bouillon powder. Stir well.

  4. 4

    Once the tomatoes and chili wilt, add sugar and salt. Adjust the taste.

    Remove and serve.
