Pour the wheat flour into a bowl, add salt and oil and mix the ingredients together.

Add in 1/2 a cup of water and start to knead with your thumbs until soft and supple.

Knead until fully combined. Then cover and allow to rest for 20 minutes.

Divide the dough into 9 to 10equal parts

Using a rolling pin roll the dough to resemble thin round pancakes. They shouldn't be perfect Apply oil very well to every side.

Fold the dough into ropes and then in to circular balls. The roll into circular shapes again this time try to make it perfect although they at first its hard to get perfect round chapatis.

Then heat a heavy skillet put some oil on the skillet and start to fry the chapatis. one by one until you are done.
