  1. Buttery Pie Crust:
  2. 1 cup (227 g)cold butter
  3. 1/4 cuppowdered sugar
  4. 1egg
  5. 1 tbspvery cold water
  6. 2 1/2 cup (313 g)All purpose flour
  7. Apple filling:
  8. 3Granny Smith apples (diced)
  9. 40 gsalted butter
  10. 3 tbspmaple syrup
  11. 1 tbspsugar
  12. 1 tspcinnamon
  13. 100 gsultanas
  14. 1 tspsalt
  15. 1egg lightly beaten for brush
  16. 1 Tbspcorn flour

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    For buttery pie crust: Put cold butter and powdered sugar in a food processor, mix 1 minutes. Add flour, egg and cold water. mix it until it form a ball. rest for 30 minutes in a fridge

    For apple filling: put all ingredients together in the pot. cook it for 15 minutes. let it cool.

    Assemble the pie and brush it with egg wash and sprinkle raw sugar on top of the pie

    Bake in the oven 180 C for 45 minutes
