Ingredients

  • 1 cupketchup
  • 1 cupwhite vinegar (more or less, to taste)
  • 1 cupbrown sugar
  • 1 tsppaprika
  • 1/4 tspchili powder
  • 1/4 tspCayenne powder
  • 1/4 tspfresh crushed dried oregano
  • 1 tspgranulated garlic (or to taste)
  • 1 tspFranks Red Hot - Xtra hot
  • 1 tbspHoisin Sauce
  • 1/4 cupTequila Lime Habanero sauce

Steps

  1. 1

    Measurements for me are by eye, so these measurements are "about" what is listed

  2. 2

    To the first 3 ingredients(Basic) add the other ingredients the rest of the list to make a slightly spicey sauce.

  3. 3

    Mix Basic sauce with the rest of ingredients and mix well. Pour over half-cooked ribs, replace lid and bake for another hour @ 300°.

  4. 4

    After an hour, take lid off and continue baking for another hour. Serve and enjoy

  5. 5

    Housin sauce is like Chinese ketchup and you can usually find it in the "Gourmet" section of your local grocery store!!
