I had some ground mince steak in freezer that needed using up. I made this for my granddaughter's friends as they came around. They asked for burgers and I had no buns. This is what I came up with.

The kids loved this quirky idea and the ghostly mash mourners kept me laughing as I piped them out

Easy to do. I made the truffle inside in the afternoon then finished them when the kids went to bed. I only ate about 6 before they were decorated too...! If you use alcohol as your flavouring they may not set so stick to the tsp amount and add another 50g choc

My son asked for a pirate ship for his birthday cake which was a bit out of the blue as I was expecting him to ask for Transformers or a Minion lol. I didn't have very long to prepare for it and I did make a few mistakes along the way but it looked ok in the end!

I order it in bulk from Amazon - it's available a bit cheaper through their Subscribe & Save option if you use that. Where our UK version (Angel Delight) is milk-powder based, Jello Instant Pudding Mix is cornstarch based and has no powdered milk in the ingredients at all. You can also look up my homemade instant pudding recipe from within my profile recipe list which is GF DF EF SF & NF. I do use powdered milk in my recipe but it's powdered coconut milk!

I've seen burgers served in doughnuts before and wanted to create something with a fall twist! Its def a keeper!!

Tinned sardines are a great source of calcium, vitamin D, vitamin B-12, potassium and omega-3 oils. My dad ate them often for breakfast on toast. They are really delicious, taste similar to herring which we do eat a lot of and a great way to get vital nutrients into the kids!
