Ingredients

  1. 450 gramsfrozen strawberries, defrosted and crushed roughly
  2. 150 gramscaster sugar
  3. 750 mlgin
  4. 1 (1 litre)wide necked bottle or jar

Cooking Instructions

    Spoon the crushed strawberries into the bottle, add the sugar and gin, seal and shake gently

  2. 2

    Leave the bottle at room temperature and shake twice a day for 3 days to help dissolve the sugar

  3. 3

    Strain the mixture and return to the bottle, seal and label with a use by date of 3 months time

  4. 4

    Make the week before Xmas for optimum drinking time. If giving as a gift write a cocktail idea on the back of the gift tag!
