Any mixie jar add tomatoes, ginger garlic, tamarind, coriander, green chilli, curry leaves, now grind them into a fine paste.

Now take a vessel and add 3 cups of water. to this vessel add the ground paste.

Now add the salt and jaggery to the mixture and let it boil for 15 minutes.

Add the pepper powder and boil for 5 more minutes.

For tempering, heat another pan and add oil, mustard seeds,cumin seeds. once they splutter add grated coconut and sesame seed powder. give it a nice stir and add this tempering to the rasam.

After adding seasoning to the rasam let it boil for 10 more minutes. now switch off the flame and serve hot with rice or Idli or Pongal.
