Children are never ready to eat bottle gourd (Lauki) that has a lot of nutritional value. Lauki Kheer is the best way to make the children eat without complain. Very easy to prepare and tasty to eat.
Steps

Take care to bring a bottle gourd (Lauki) without seeds.

First peel, wash and dry with kitchen towel.
- 3
Grate the Lauki to fine or medium in a grater.
- 4
Heat a heavy bottomed pan. Add ghee, Cinnamon stick and grated Lauki, Salt and cook in medium flame till golden brown.

Now add grated Khoya and fry for 2 minutes. Pour Milk and cook till the Milk boils.

Add sugar and chopped nuts and cook in medium flame stirring time to time till the Milk thickens.

Switch off the flame and allow the Lauki Kheer to cool and then add Cardamon powder and nutmeg powder and garnish with chopped nuts.

Yummy yummy Lauki Kheer is ready to serve.
