1 smallonion minced
1 packagesfrozen hash browns (1 lb bag) thawed
1/2 stickbutter, melted
1 cupsour cream
1 cupgrated cheddar cheese
1/2 cancream of chicken soup
1/2 tspsalt
1/4 tsppepper
Before Baking
1 cupcrushed corn flakes
1/4 stickbutter

mix all the initial ingredients

Pour mixture into rectangular baking dish.

mix the corn flakes and butter together.

pour corn flakes over the top of the hash brown mixture.

Bake at 350° for 30-40 minutes.
