Meat are served as the SECONDO PIATTO or "second plate" in a traditional Italian meal and one of the favorite is POLPETTE or meatball coz its really delicious!
Steps

Combine the egg, milk and breadcrumbs in a medium bowl and set aside to soak for 5 minutes.

Then add the parmesan, oregano, parsley, onion and garlic.

Season with salt and pepper.

Add the beef and mix thoroughly.

Shape tablespoonfuls into firm meatballs and place onto a tray.

Heat the oil in a large frying pan and fry the meatballs in batches fir 3-4 minutes, turning until browned all over and cooked through.

Serve with your choice of side dishes like my organic green salad, or make a tomatoe sauce and serve with pasta. Serves 4.
