12 servings
  1. 1 lbground beef
  2. 1/2 largeonion, chopped
  3. 5 cupcabbage, chopped
  4. 2 cankidney beans, 16 oz., drained
  5. 3 cupwater
  6. 24 oztomato sauce
  7. 1 1/2 tspground cumin
  8. 1 tspsalt
  9. 1 tspground black pepper
  10. 4beef bouillon cubes
  11. 1 tbspcrushed red pepper flakes
  12. 1 tbspWorcestershire sauce
  13. 1 candiced tomatoes

Steps

  1. 1

    brown ground beef and onion in large pot.

  2. 2

    drain fat after beef is browned.

  3. 3

    add in rest of ingredients.

  4. 4

    bring to boil.

  5. 5

    simmer until cabbage is tender, usually 30 to 45 minutes.
