Heat a pan or ladai first. Add 1 cup rava. being to rost the rava.stirr ofting while roasting the rava.

The rava griens should become fragrent and start to look dry. Saperat and crispy, don't brown the rava.

Switch off the flame and then ADD the roasted rava in a plat and keep aside.

In a pan heat 2 table spoon ghee or oil add 1 teaspoon mustered seeds.

When u hear the crecing sound of mustered seeds, it means they are getting frayed.

Now add the 1 teaspoon chana dal and 1 teaspoon urad dal.

Fry till they being to brown a bit.

Now add the finely chopped onions and saute the onions till they became translucent.

Then add the green chilli, ginger, curry leaves, chhopd tomato, and haldi powder saute for a min.

When the water comes to a rolling boil lower the flam to its lowest, then added the rava.

Quickly stirr and mix well, the rava grains abgorb water and thus swell and get cooks.

Cover and slow the rava upma to steam for 2 min, on the low flame.

Then switch of the flame.hear the rava is cooked and the upma is ready.

Lastly add about 2 tablespoons chopped coriander leaves stirr well.

Sourav Upma with coconut chutney or lime slice or lime pickle.

Ready to eat garam garam upma.
