Experimenting with compound butters and came up with this recipe.

Cook bacon, drain, cool, and finely chop and set aside.

Combine the bacon and blue cheese with the softened butter.

Add pepper to taste. Place mixture on a piece of plastic cling wrap. Roll into a log and place in the fridge to reharden.

Use this butter on baked potatoes, steaks, or under chicken skin while roasting. Possibilities are endless!
