Ingredients

  • 14 kgground beef
  • 2brown onions diced
  • 3 tspminced garlic
  • 4 stalkchopped celery
  • 1/2red pepper diced
  • 1/2green pepper diced
  • 1 cupdiced mushrooms
  • 3carrots diced
  • 1 bunchsmall bunch of basil leaves cut finely
  • 2 candiced tomatoes
  • 500 gramstomato pasta sauce
  • 2 tspmixed herbs
  • 1/2 cupketchup
  • 3 tbspsugar
  • 1 tbspsalt
  • 1pepper
  • 1/4 dashchilli pepper
  • 3 tbsptomato paste
  • 1splashes of beef stock
  • 1 kgspaghetti
  • 1tasty cheese or parmasen
  • 2bay leaves

Steps

  1. 1

    Fry and brown ground beef. Add diced onions and garlic.

  2. 2

    Add chopped celery, carrot, mushrooms, red and green peppers and basil .Sautee until soft.

    Add tomato pasta sauce, canned tomatos, tomato paste, salt, pepper, chilli pepper, sugar, ketchup,mixed herbs and splash of beef stock. If liquid starts drying up a little add more beef stock. Add bay leaves

    Get it bubbling and then cook on low for 30-40 mins

  5. 5

    Boil water for spaghetti . Add a pinch of salt and splash of olive oil before place noodles in the water. Once boiling add spaghetti and cook until soft.

  6. 6

    rince spaghetti and give a small coating of olive oil to separate

  7. 7

    Plate up with spaghetti and bolenese sauce and sprinkle with tasty cheese ir parmasen.
