Ingredients

  • 4 lbfresh honey (or you can use bottled if you like)
  • 10fresh rosemary sprigs

Steps

  1. 1

    In a medium saucepan, bring honey and 6 rosemary sprigs to simmer over medium low heat until it bubbles around the edges.

  2. 2

    Take off the heat and let the honey sit and steep for 20 to 30 minutes.

  3. 3

    Remove steeped rosemary sprigs and pour the honey into glass jars. Add 2 fresh rosemary sprigs to each jar and seal. I used canning jars. I usually get about 2 1/2 -8 oz. jars worth from 4 lbs of honey.

  4. 4

    Use in your everyday recipes as needed. A very nice sweet and earthy herbal note that is absolutely delish!

I cook a lot with fresh vegetables and fruits but my first love is fresh herbs! I garden a lot and love to cook what I grow.
