1 loaffrench bread, unbaked (either homemade or storebought, like from from the frozen section or Pillsbury)
2 tbspolive oil
seasoning mix
2 tbsppoppy seeds
2 tbspkosher salt
1 tspgarlic powder
1/2 tspbasil
1/2 tsporegano

Steps

Preheat oven as required.

Spray cookie sheet with non stick cooking spray. Place loaf on cookie sheet and cut 4 diagonal slices about 3/4" deep.

Drizzle 1 tablespoon of olive oil on bread and spread evenly with pastry brush.

Mix seasonings and sprinkle 1 teaspoon over bread.

Bake as required. During last 7 minutes of baking, drizzle with remaining tablespoon olive oil.
