Mimi's Chili

I have made this recipe many ways (added onions while cooking or chopped green pepper) below is the way my family likes me to make it. Add reserved juice from tomatoes if you want more liquid. I use a little cornstarch and water to thicken if needed. We serve this either over rice, elbow noodles or crackers and butter! Topped with chopped onions, cheese and sour cream or fritos!

In Crock Pot mix all above ingredients! NOTES:* I add the liquid of one of the cans of beans. I drain the 2nd can not worrying if I get it all out. **I smash with my hands each tomato before putting in the crockpot. Save the juice incase you want to add liquid later!

Cook on low for 6 hours or high for 4 hours!
