Blondie's Friend Bub's Wild Berry Lemonade

Ingredients

6 servings
  1. 1 cupsugar (I use raw cane sugar)
  2. 1 quartboiling water
  3. 6lemons, juiced
  4. 3 cupcold water
  5. 4bags wild berry tea (I use Celestial Seasonings Wild Berry)
  6. 1/4 cupcrystallized ginger (I use Penzey's)

Cooking Instructions

    Add the sugar, tea bags and ginger to a 1 quart jar with a lid.

    Pour the boiling water to the top of the jar and close tightly with the lid.

  3. 3

    Allow to steep for 15 minutes.

  4. 4

    Shake the sealed jar gently every 5 minutes.

  5. 5

    At the end of the steep time, carefully squeeze the tea bags over the brewed contents and discard.

    Then strain the ginger from the brew and pour the liquid into a 1/2 gallon pitcher.

    Add the fresh lemon juice.

    Fill to the top with cold water/ice and stir.

  9. 9

    Serve and enjoy.
