I've always loved potato pancakes. With so many great recipes, I decided to come up with my own take.

In the morning I was planning on slow cooking the ribs on the barbeque, it was a hot & humid day. Then the clouds rolled in & it rained hard the rest of the day. This is the best way I know to cook the ribs the fastest & with the most flavor in the house on a hot day.

I made this since I had some delicious Jusanko shijimi clams.Degritting by saltwater, and cooking from cold water helps to bring out the richness of the clams.Freezing the shijimi clams increases the elements that give it its flavor, so after degritting, I recommend freeze-storing them.Cook the frozen clams without defrosting. This comes from my favorite bar that I went to as a student called Maimai Tsuburo. It's since closed down, so the only things left are my memories of it and the flavor of this whiskey sour that I watched the bartender make. It's very easy to make. However, the bartender didn't use mint as a garnish.I often watched the bartender make this, so the taste should basically be the same. The bartender used Torys whiskey, so if at all possible I recommend using it. I can't get a hold of any, so if you can I'm extremely jealous. Recipe by milketmoi

Since 1/2 of my youngest students are getting over the flu - the other healthy 1/2 decided to make this spicy little Mexican vegetarian soup for them. Especially with extra spice and broth for their stuffy noses & sore throats.They also served their soup with tortilla chips to scratch their buddies throats and flour tortillas to absorb any icky acids in their tummies. Well, it worked! This recipie is so easy and delicious! Spicy but delicious! Great work kiddos!
