Ingredients

  1. 1 cupdark corn syrup
  2. 3eggs (beaten)
  3. 1 cupsugar
  4. 2 tbspbutter (melted)
  5. 1 tspvanilla extract
  6. 1 1/2 cuppecans (I like a mixture of halves & chopped)
  7. 1raw pie crust (deep dish)

Steps

  1. 1

    Preheat oven to 350°

  2. 2

    In a medium bowl, stir the first 5 ingredients thoroughly

  3. 3

    Pour into pie crust and cover with pecans

  4. 4

    Bake on middle rack for 60 minutes

  5. 5

    Cover pie with foil and bake an additional 10-15 minutes (until middle is springy)

  6. 6

    Cool for 2-3 hours before slicing (or it'll be runny!)
