2(16 oz) containers of Sour Cream
8 ozbacon. Cooked and chopped
2 cupshredded cheddar
1 packagesranch dip mix
130 oz bag shredded hash browns

Cooking Instructions

Preheat the oven to 400°

Combine the first four ingredients in a large bowl.

Add hash browns. Stir well.

Spray a 13x9 casserole dish with nonstick cooking spray.

Spread mixture into dish.

Bake for 50-60 minutes. Until golden brown.

Let stand 10 minutes before serving.

I love this recipe. I have used sausage instead of bacon and I added some scrambled eggs. Very yummy no matter what.

This is my variation of a classic hashbrown casserole (also known as funeral potatoes, but that name is a bit too morbid for the holiday table). I use a homemade condensed cream of chicken soup rather than canned for this recipe. The cornflake topping is optional, but I like the crunch that it adds to the overall texture.
