  • 6 mediumturnips
  • 2 tspsalt
  • 1boiling water
  • 1/2 cuphalf and half
  • 1 cupbutter

  1. 1

    Boil water. Add salt.

  2. 2

    Peel and dice the turnips into small pieces. Boil chunks in water until tender.

  3. 3

    Drain water. Add half and half as well as butter. Mash chunks.

  4. 4

    Add salt and pepper to taste.
