Ingredients

  1. 2 tbspred currant jelly
  2. 2 tspcornstarch
  3. 1 packages(10 ounces) frozen raspberries in syrup, thawed

Steps

  1. 1

    With the back of a spoon, press raspberries through a fine sieve into a 2 quart saucepan.

  2. 2

    Discard seeds.

  3. 3

    Stir in jelly and cornstarch.

  4. 4

    Heat to boiling over high heat, stirring constantly.

  5. 5

    Boil for 1 minute.

  6. 6

    Serve sauce at room temperature, or cover and refrigerate up to 2 days.

  7. 7

    *This makes about 1 cup.*

  8. 8

    **This is a nice sauce for cakes, ice cream, or fruit.**

Some of my favorite things are family, friends, my pets, cooking, baking, football (Badger & Packer), Brewer baseball, college basketball, car racing, thrift stores, volunteering, and rummage sales. I have a 9 year old rescue dog, and 7 birds ( 6 are rescue) and they range in age from 1 year to over 19 years old. I volunteer for a dog rescue and a shelter, as well as other festivals and organizations.
