Rosh Bora

#Diwalidelights - A simple Bengali traditional homemade sweet made during Diwali is Rosh Bora. It is not usually found in sweet shops. Rosh means syrup and Bora means Vadas. So it is a very easy recipe of vadas made of urad dal (split black gram) and dunked in sugar syrup.

It is lesser known among all the other Bengali desserts, but nevertheless a very delicious one. For some variation, a raisin or two can be put inside the vadas before frying them.
