Ingredients

6 servings
  • 1 lbLump Crab meat
  • 1/3 cupCrushed Cracker (I use Ritz)
  • 3Green Onions Cut (White part too)
  • 1Egg
  • 1/2Shrimp Cut into small pieces
  • 1 tspWorcestershire
  • 1/4 cupMayo
  • 1/2 cupCelery (Chopped Finely)
  • 1 tspDry Mustard
  • 1/2 cupLemon Juice
  • 1/4 tspGarlic Powder
  • 1 tspSalt
  • 1 tspPepper
  • 1 dashcayenne pepper
  • 1Flour (For Dusting)
  • 1/2 cupExtra virgin olive oil
  • 1Kashawna's Home Made Tarter (see recipe)

Steps

  1. 1

    In a large bowl, mix together all ingredients, except for the flour and peanut oil.

  2. 2

    Shape into patties and dust with flour.

  3. 3

    Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

  4. 4

    When oil is hot, carefully place crab cakes, in batches, in pan and fry until browned, about 4 to 5 minutes. Carefully flip crab cakes and fry on other side until golden brown, about 4 minutes.

    Serve Warm with Kashawna's Tarter
