Here in Florida one of our top crops is strawberries. My granddaughter Skye maybe allergic to them so another crop thats popular here is blueberries. Florida is famous for strawberry shortcake. So I made her a blueberry shortcake.

Here in Florida one of our top crops is strawberries. My granddaughter Skye maybe allergic to them so another crop thats popular here is blueberries. Florida is famous for strawberry shortcake. So I made her a blueberry shortcake.

Take a pot add blueberries to it. Heat add sugar, and water.

Bring to boil smash a few stir well. Mix the 2 tablespoons of water with cornstarch stirring constantly. Add to blueberries let it thicken.

After it thickens a bit let cool. In a bowl add your cake. Put blueberries on top along with its juices. Add cool whip/ whipped cream on top serve hope you enjoy!
