Unfold the puff pastry onto a clean work surface and cut into 12 equal rectangles.

Transfer to a parchment paper lined baking sheet and bake until golden and puffed, 13 to 15 minutes.

Remove the sheet from the oven and let the puff pastry cool completely.

Whip the cream until stiff peaks form.

Using a spatula, fold the jam into the whipped cream until mixed well.

To assemble, lay out 4 pieces of puff pastry.

Top each with a thin layer of strawberry slices.

Add a generous dollop of whipped cream.

Spread slightly to coat the strawberries.

Dust with confectioners' sugar.

Repeat the layering once, then top each stack with the final third piece of puff pastry.
