Ingredients

1 hour 10 mins
8 servings
  1. 1 lbground beef or vegetarian ground meat substitute
  2. 1 tspchopped onion
  3. salt and pepper
  4. 1/2 cupbread crumbs
  5. 1/2 cuptomato juice
  6. 1veggie bacon strip or kosher beef bacon strip (optional)

  1. 1

    Mix all ingredients, form into a loaf.

  2. 2

    Lay veggie bacon over top.

  3. 3

    Place in pan and bake in moderate oven (350F) for approximately 1 hour. Serve with any desired sauce.
